The wedding of George Holroyd 1880-1953 and Sarah Ann Whitaker 1884-1960 and from left to right :
Henry Holroyd 1836-1921, Mary Ann Lumb 1850-1910, George Holroyd, Sarah Whitaker, then presumably brides brother and father. Also the bridesmaids are unknown.
Below, the couple with the dog , building unknown, thought to be Bank Hall prior to adjoining property being built on. Anyone with further information please get in touch.
far right Frank Holroyd 1925-2002 , the last Holroyd at Bank Hall Farm, Barkisland.He was a milkman and farmer all his life, never married,as neither did his brother Willie. Frank made a will approximately six weeks before he passed away, leaving the property and land of Bank Hall Farm to non Holroyds.Quite an inheritance.
